How would you like to have someone walk beside you during a transition or help you work through a problem without spending a fortune on counseling? I am currently a master’s level student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Florida Gulf Coast University. I have a Master of Arts in Education with fifteen years’ experience with children of diverse cultures and abilities. As a lead teacher, ESOL Specialist and former staffing firm manager, I have mentored adults adapting to unfamiliar responsibilities, navigating difficult relationships and exploring new opportunities for over two decades. Through local churches, I facilitated women’s groups dealing with codependency and other issues for 10+ years. I also have experience leading mixed groups through DivorceCare.

I use person-centered, solution focused, cognitive- behavioral, and systems theories with a Biblical perspective in working with clients. I am a member of the American Counseling Association, Florida Mental Health Counselor’s Association, Association for Play Therapy and the American Association of Christian Counselors.

My role as a counselor is to restore hope, create a safe space for you to face challenges, highlight your strengths, and help you make meaning out of circumstances and choices. I will design an individualized treatment plan to meet your needs and help you accomplish your goals. I look forward to meeting you in whatever season you find yourself.
